HOME COLOUR CONSULTANCY
HOME COLOUR CONSULTANCY
Decorating can be a daunting prospect. I can help guide you through the dilemmas of tester-pots and colour charts, avoiding the disappointment of an expensive mistake.
From my base in Bruton Somerset, I travel widely, advising clients as far afield as Wales, Dorset and west Cornwall on properties both period and contemporary. Each space has a particular feel and a unique experience of light, a colour that can look perfect in a friend’s dining room may disappoint in your hallway because of these different conditions. My expertise is knowing which colour palette and paint finish will work best in each area, and will create the impact you seek. I enjoy nothing more than being given a new project, be it inside or out, and working with my clients to effect a bespoke transformation.
Paint is glorious – let’s explore together!
WHAT TO EXPECT
We will start with a pre-consultation phone call to talk about your project. Are you renovating your entire home or refreshing a few areas? This is the perfect time to discuss your ideas and talk about any colours or features you may wish include.
I am happy to offer advice on all styles and periods, whether Traditional, Contemporary, extensions or new-build.
At the start of the home consultation I will consider the purpose of each individual space, the way it is lit at different times of the day and any architecture features.
I will guide you through the colour palette taking into account complementary colours for woodwork including suggestions for highlighting any special features within the space.
After the consultation you will receive a Paint Specification Report. This will give details of all the schemes for each of the areas discussed.
